Fielou – Memories to listen to
Together with an audio agency I created Fielou to capture memories in voices: parents, grandparents, and relatives could record stories, personal anecdotes, or messages as audio recordings. I then processed these audio files professionally.
This included both automatic sound enhancement and manual audio editing, removing stumbles, background noise, or technical glitches. The result: high-quality private audio formats that sound great even years later.
Besides families, we also extended the concept to kindergartens: there, for example, bedtime stories or kindergarten updates could be recorded and shared with parents as a private podcast.
Why is Fielou currently on hold?
Implementation showed that ongoing hosting costs and technical requirements were too high for many families and organizations. That's why Fielou is currently on hold. The idea isn't dead for me though - I can definitely see bringing back memories as audio in a new format in the future.

Working on Fielou gave me valuable insights into private podcasting: from technical audio editing and upload process organization to managing multiple podcast channels simultaneously. This experience feeds directly into my work as a freelancer today - especially in podcast management for coaches and small businesses.
